The Telangana High Court on Tuesday dismissed a petition seeking to halt the release of the upcoming Telugu film 'Pushpa-2, scheduled for December 5.

During a recent promotional event in Mumbai, Allu Arjun had addressed his fan base as “Army”. This has hurt the sentiment of man named Srinivas Goud as he has now lodged a complaint against the actor at the Jawahar Nagar Police Station in Hyderabad, objecting to the usage of the word for his fan base.

Allu Arjun addressed a large crowd at the event, entertaining them with his efforts in Hindi. He said, "My salute to the land of Bihar. This is my first time here, and I’m deeply touched by your warm welcome and love. Pushpa never bows down, but today, for the first time, Pushpa bows to your love. I’m truly grateful for the affection you’ve shown us, and 'thank you' doesn’t seem enough. I bow my head in respect to all of you."

Pushpa 2: The Rule is set to release on December 5 in several languages, including Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi.
