Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said that law was taking its own course of action in film actor Allu Arjun’s arrest here on Friday. “I have no role in this and all are equal before the law,” the Chief Minister reportedly said during an informal chitchat with media persons in New Delhi.
In the event of one person losing life in the stampede at a theatre in the city, police was initiating action as per rules. Things were being handled as per law, he stressed.
At the Pushpa 2 success meet here, film actor Allu Arjun had failed to remember the Chief Minister’s name. However, he thanked the Telangana government for permitting to enhance the ticket prices for Pushpa 2 movie.
Regarding another Tollywood actor Mohan Babu’s family dispute and the recent ruckus at his house, the Chief Minister said there were court directions. Over the cabinet expansion, Revanth Reddy said it was mere speculation and there was no such discussion at all.
“Parliament session is under progress in New Delhi and Assembly session is also on in Telangana. If there has to be cabinet expansion, PCC Chief, Deputy Chief Minister and other senior leaders have to be consulted,” Revanth Reddy reportedly said.
