Tadepalli: Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu, who captured power through backdoor, did not know people’s problems nor the role of opposition parties, observed Adviser to the government Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy.
Talking to media persons here on Monday, he said Chandrababu was living in exile in the neighbouring state. “He has written a letter to the Director General of Police here. I am trying to find out what exactly is his problem. Normally, the opposition parties would fight against the government and the ruling party. He does not seem to know the role of the opposition. What he knows is just one thing–that is to capture power and wants to take the shortest route for it–trying to find out if he can come to power by jumping the wall,” he remarked.
Noting that soliciting a reply from the DGP was not easy as the latter had his limits, Ramarikishna Reddy recalled that the TDP president had earlier written to the Chief Secretary. “He may also approach the court of law on this in an attempt to say that the government had failed,” he stated.
