Cyberabad police crackdown on illegal bike racing, stunting: 40 youngsters booked, 40 bikes seized
The police found some young people doing bike stunts and racing on public roads by obstructing the general public and shouting loudly and causing a nuisance.

Hyderabad: Cracking down on the trend of youngsters racing bikes on the city roads, the Raidurgam police registered five cases against 40 bike racers and seized 40 bikes late on Friday night.
On receiving information that some youngsters were bike racing and creating nuisance with loud shouting, the Raidurgam police of Cyberabad Commissionerate, rushed to the spot at T-Hub. The bike racing was found to be taking place near T-Hub, Knowledge City and Raidurgam.
The police found some young people doing bike stunts and racing on public roads by obstructing the general public and shouting loudly and causing a nuisance. The bikers’ acts, the police said, was endangering to others as that could cause a road accident.
On seeing the police, the bikers tried to escape, but 40 bikers were caught and five cases were registered against them. The seized vehicles would be handed over to RTA for further action under the Motor Vehicle Act.
Meanwhile, in appeal, the police urged parents to control their children as such bike racing and stunts have every possibility of accidents and danger to their lives. Bike racings are not allowed in any manner, if those found indulging in such racing would have cases registered and sent to jail.
