Cyberabad Traffic Police review meeting focuses on streamlining traffic

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Traffic Police (CTP) held a traffic review meeting and discussed ongoing efforts and strategies to streamline traffic flow and enforce traffic regulations across the Cyberabad jurisdiction on Saturday.
In the meeting, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Joel Davis stressed the need to hold regular meetings to monitor and evaluate traffic conditions effectively. Through discussions with senior officials from all the division, the commissioner analysed areas with high traffic density, identified traffic hotspots, and assessed daily traffic patterns, including peak and non-peak hours.
Some of the key points for discussion during the meeting were special drive to identify and penalise vehicles with irregular number plates, installation of digital boards at key locations for enhanced traffic management, removal of encroachments affecting traffic movement, clearing pending traffic challans through focused enforcement.
Also, strict action against drunk and drive cases, increased vigilance on wrong-side driving, resolving traffic hotspots, reduce accidents at black spots and high-incident stretches and deployment of traffic marshals in high-traffic areas were discussed in the meeting.
