The iPhone exports from India surged to cross $10 billion in 2023-24 from $6.27 billion in 2022-23. Overall, the iPhone maker's India operations reached $23.5 billion in value in the last fiscal (FY24).
This achievement has been made possible with heavy investment from original equipment manufacturers, original design manufacturers and companies dealing in components and parts.
In a statement, ICEA that represents mobile and component manufacturers such as Apple, Motorola, Nokia, Foxconn, Wistron, Flextronics, Lava, Vivo and others, said that it would promote newer and niche cell technologies in the country.
