Hyderabad: Indian thali is the most balanced diet and the best in the world, says the celebrity nutritionist, Pooja Makhija.
Speaking at a session ‘Nourish to Flourish’ by the FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO), Pooja who is a nutritionist to stars like Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Mira Kapoor, said, “eat food that God made and not man-made.’
The queen of healthy eating said nutrition is one of the most underestimated partners in one’s health journey. “Learn to love food and not fear it,” said the author of three books N For Nourish; Eat and Delete Junior and Eat and Delete.
“Carbohydrates are your friends. They are not your enemies. No food is bad for you. Intelligent nutrition is important. Only you need to alter the order of the food you eat. Eat food god made and not man-made. It will be good for you,” Pooja advocated.
Meanwhile, Suparna Trikha, Author, Columnist, and Wellness Entrepreneur revealed in a one-and-a-half-hour session the secrets to feeling good inside-out. Suparna said natural food is the best and demonstrated a few healthy recipes and spoke about natural food, healthy skin and hair.
