Inter student cracks under academic pressure, hangs himself to death in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: An Intermediate student died by suicide at a residential college at Miyapur on Friday night.

Kaushik Raghav (17), a native of Vijayawada, was pursuing Intermediate at a private college in Miyapur.

On Friday night, he hanged himself to the ceiling fan in the college hostel and died.

Police shifted the body for a post-mortem examination to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary and registered a case.

Raghav’s family alleged that he slipped into depression due to academic pressure and ended his life.
