IIT-Kanpur, which is organising the JEE Advanced 2025 for admissions to IITs, has released a detailed schedule and information brochure

Starting 2025, IITs aspirants are allowed to sit for the JEE Advanced for a maximum of three times in three consecutive years. Until this year, the number of attempts was restricted to twice in the two consecutive years.

As many as 3,081 students qualified in JEE Advanced 2024, of which 2,819 students were from classroom programmes and 262 students were from distance and digital courses.

Bismit Sahoo from Odisha secured AIR 16, while Aryan Prakash from Maharashtra secured AIR 17 and Amogh Agrawal from Karnataka secured AIR 20.

The students, who were enrolled in AESL's classroom program to prepare for JEE Advanced, attributed their success to rigorous understanding of concepts and strict adherence to a disciplined study schedule.

TSWR CoE Bellampalli Principal Inala Saidulu said that Ade Navaneeth achieved 1,171st rank and stood in the top in the institution, while Durgam Charan, Veluthuru Akhil, Ramtenki Shiva got 2,778th, 2,679th, 7,476th ranks, respectively.

A total of 1124 students from Telangana Social Welfare Residential Centre of Excellence Educational (TSWR COEs) Institutions appeared for the IIT Mains-2024 examinations out of which a total of 462 qualified for the JEE Advanced.

Out of 133 students from COEs appeared in the JEE Main exam, 75 candidates qualified for the advanced test and of the 125 students from Non-COEs, 39 qualified for JEE Advanced
