Journalists from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh protest against Mohan Babu’s attack on journalists
Protests by journalists agianst the attack on reporters by actor Mohan Babu spread to Andhra Pradesh also with journos organising a protest in Tirupati on the issue. Jouranlists in Telangana too are on protest.

Hyderabad: Condemning the attack on TV9 Telugu reporter and other journalists by actor Mohan Babu, several Journalists from Telangana as well as Andhra Pradesh staged protests demanding the immediate arrest of the actor.
Reacting to the attack, the Telangana State Video Journalists Associations and other Journalist Associations, on Wednesday, called for protests at the actor’s residence and Film Chamber in Film Nagar and also registered a case at the police station.
Several journalists from Andhra Pradesh also condemned the attack on the media. The journalist also staged a protest at the Ambedkar statue in Kuppam. Mohan Babu’s effigy was burnt and slogans were raised against the actor.
The Jana Sena coordinator Naresh, TDP councilors Damu, Zakir, Somu, and Suresh have expressed their support to the journalists protesting in Kuppam.
The alleged assault occurred when the media persons reached the actor’s residence to report on the ongoing rift in the Manchu family. Upon questioning about the feud, the actor snatched the mic from a TV9 journalist and hit him on the face leaving him severely injured. The actor’s aides later allegedly chased the media out of the actor’s residence using physical force.
