Mission Bhagiratha toll free number launched
The service was introduced to resolve water leakages, supply disruptions, and other related issues. If there are any problems with the Mission Bhagiratha system, alternative arrangements will be made to ensure a continuous water supply.

Hyderabad: Residents in rural areas can now lodge water supply related issues on 24-hours toll free number 1800-599-4007. The Mission Bhagiratha department launched this call centre at its head office in Erramanzil here on Monday.
The service was launched to address water leakages, disruption in supply and other issues. In case if there are any supply issues through Mission Bhagiratha system, alternate arrangements would be made to supply water.
The call centre would be monitored by a Superintendent Engineer and operated by five staff members. All the complaints lodged during day time would be attended and registered by the staff and those lodges during late evening and night hours would be recorded automatically.
All the complaints would be examined on a daily basis by Mission Bhagiratha ENC Krupakar Reddy. Measures would be taken to address the complaints within 24 hours.
The complaints lodged through toll free number would be shared with respective panchayats and steps would be taken accordingly. The department had also repaired 64,218 hand pumps, 45,882 single phase motors and 32,517 piped water supply motors and brought them into service.
