Ponnam meets KCR with invite for Telangana Thalli statue unveiling
The Minister, accompanied by protocol officials, visited the former Chief Minister at his residence in Erravelli and extended the invitation on behalf of the government to the event.

Hyderabad: In preparation for the unveiling of the Telangana Thalli statue at the Dr B R Ambedkar Secretariat building on December 9, BC Welfare and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Saturday extended an invitation to the State’s first Chief Minister and BRS president K. Chandrashekhar Rao.
The Minister, accompanied by protocol officials, visited the former Chief Minister at his residence in Erravelli and extended the invitation on behalf of the government to the event. BRS leaders including former MP Joginpally Santosh Kumar, former MLA Jeevan Reddy, and Vamshidhar Rao welcomed the Minister and his delegation.
The BRS president hosted a lunch for the Minister at his residence. During their meeting, the two leaders recalled their memories of the Telangana movement, particularly the significant events that took place in Delhi during the fight for Statehood.
Accompanying the Minister were government protocol and public relations advisor Harkara Venugopal and Department of Protocol Director Venkat Rao among others.
