The theft of the 10 to 15 feet long copper pipe by unidentified persons on Tuesday late at night disrupted the oxygen supply to the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
The incident took place at around 7:30 am near Jhingol village in Tamnar range when people were collecting 'mahua' fruits, Raigarh Division Forest Officer Stylo Mandavi said.
The tusker, aged 40-45 years, was found dead on Tuesday night at Baysi village under Dharamjaigarh forest division, Divisional Forest Officer Abhishek Jogawat said.
