Sangareddy: Former Minister T Harish Rao said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had failed to get an appointment with Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi even after waiting for three days in New Delhi during his recent visit. Even though BJP leaders and union cabinet ministers had given appointments to Revanth Reddy, he could not get an appointment of his own party’s top brass.
Addressing the gathering before presenting trophies to winners of the KCR cricket tournament in Ameenpur on Sunday, Harish Rao said Revanth Reddy had got himself out by “hit wicket” as he failed to implement the promises he made during his election campaign. Revanth Reddy had again got himself out by another “hit wicket” by sending actor Allu Arjun to jail as he continued to make all the wrong moves. Stating that Revanth Reddy focused only on demolishing already built houses and projects after coming to power, Harish Rao said he had built nothing so far.
Appreciating BRS leader Manik Yadav for organising the KCR cricket tournament in Ameenpur, Rao said participating in sports competitions would improve leadership qualities and inculcate sporting spirit in youngsters.
