Revolt Motors launches India’s first electric motorcycle in commuter segment
With the fast-charging technology, the RV1+ can get fully charged in just 1.5 hours

New Delhi: Revolt Motors announced the launch of India’s first electric motorcycle in commuter segment on Tuesday.
In a press release, Revolt Motors said that launch of RV1 and its premium variant, RV1+ models would bring electric motorcycling to a wider audience with affordability prices and up to three times lower ownership costs compared to petrol motorcycles in the commuter segment.
According to the press release, the bike sets a new benchmark in the electric motorcycle industry as the RV1 boasts of a 250 kg payload capacity—significantly higher than the 150 kg average seen in other commuter motorcycles.
With the fast-charging technology, the RV1+ can get fully charged in just 1.5 hours, the release said.
The RV1 and its premium variant, RV1+, are offered in four striking colours, available at an introductory price of ₹ 84,990 for the RV1 and ₹99,990 for the RV1+.
