Hyderabad: Barely after a few hours of actor Allu Arjun’s arrest in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede case, a letter purportedly sent by the theater management to the police seeking police bandobast for the premiere show of ‘Pushpa 2’ has emerged on social media on Friday.
In the letter submitted to Chikkadpally ACP on December 2, the management had requested for police bandobast at the theatre in RTC ‘x’ road in connection with the release of the film on December 4. Prior permission was sought expecting a heavy crowd for the premiere.
“We are screening the film – Pushpa – 2 starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and others on December 4 at 9.30pm. The hero, heroine, VIPs and production unit of the film are coming to see the movie. We request you to provide bandobast for the same,” the petition read.

The petition was accepted and acknowledged as well.
However, the Chikkadpally police had claimed that there was no prior information from the theater or the actor’s team regarding the same.
