Sangareddy: An elderly woman has lodged a complaint with the District Collector stating her son, who was working as a school teacher, shunted her out of their home.
The woman Busareddypally Annamma (75), a resident of Vatpally, presented a representation to Collector Valluru Kranthi during the grievance redressal programme on Monday. Annamma said her family had lost 11 acres of land for the Singur reservoir.
When the government granted the compensation, her elder son Mallesham withdrew the cash and built two houses – one in Sangareddy and one in Vatpally. However, Mallesham was refusing to give a share to her younger son Maruthi, who was earning barely Rs.12,000 per month. When she questioned him, Mallesham and his wife shunted Annamma out of the house.
The Collector ordered the officials to carry out an enquiry and initiate necessary action against Mallesham.
