Telangana: Diagnostic centre inaugurated in Khammam

Khammam: Setting up Diagnostic Centres at all the district headquarters in the State is a great step forward in public healthcare, Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar said on Wednesday.
Ajay Kumar, accompanied by MP Nama Nageswar Rao, was speaking after inaugurating Telangana Diagnostic Centre at Khammam District Headquarters Hospital here. “The diagnostic centres have all the ultra modern equipment and they would greatly help the poor to get medical tests done,” he said.

He revealed that the State Cabinet has decided to set up 100-bed hospitals at Madhira and Sathupalli in Khammam district and works would soon commence.
The Minister also inaugurated a similar facility at Kothagudem District Hospital later.
