Hyderabad: After proposing to establish 10 pharma villages, the State government is now planning to develop 10 new industrial parks between the Outer Ring Road and the proposed Regional Ring Road (RRR).
Of these, five would be dedicated to MSMEs, one would be reserved for women owned and one for innovative start-ups. In all new industrial parks, five percent plots would be reserved for women and 15 percent plots would be reserved for SC/ST entrepreneurs, Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu said at a press conference here on Thursday.
Development of private flatted factory complexes (multi-story industrial building) and industrial parks would be encouraged by offering stamp duty discounts and land cost rebates, he said, adding that the State government would construct flatted factories with in-built facilities for women across 119 constituencies.
This apart, 10 new common facility centres would be developed around MSME clusters in 10 districts. The cluster-based testing facilities would be developed under PPP engagements. One warehouse would be constructed in PPP model in each of the five ORR- RRR MSME parks.
Construction of warehouses will be encouraged by 100 percent stamp duty discount & land cost rebates, the Minister said, stressing that the duty incurred on import of raw material would also be reimbursed.
