Hyderabad: A seminar titled ‘Civil Services – the G.O.A.T Career for a Fresh Graduate’ was conducted at Narsimha Reddy Engineering College, Medchal, on Wednesday. The event, organised by ‘Telangana Today’ and ‘NamastheTelangana’ in collaboration with Reflections IAS Academy, aimed at inspiring and guiding students aspiring to join the Indian Civil Services through the UPSC exams.
Dr. G. Vivekananda, UPSC achiever -2014 and serving as Assistant Director at the Ministry of Defence, addressed the students, offering valuable insights into the UPSC exam process and the immense impact civil servants have on society. He stressed that becoming a civil servant requires not only discipline but also a focused study approach.
Dr. Vivekananda, who is also chief mentor at Reflections IAS academy encouraged students to view challenges as opportunities for solutions and emphasized that success in the UPSC exams is achievable by students from diverse educational backgrounds, not just those from elite institutions like IITs or medical colleges.
SriRamana Muppalla, Founder and Director of Reflections IAS Academy, further outlined the civil services exam process and motivated students by highlighting the authority and responsibility civil servants hold in addressing societal challenges.
Dr. R.Lokanadham, Principal of Narsimha Reddy Engineering College, welcomed the gathering and encouraged students to take part in such seminars for their professional growth. Chairman J.Narsimha Reddy extended his gratitude to Telangana Publications for organising such insightful event.
