Tension prevails as Group-1 aspirants continue to protest at Ashok Nagar

Hyderabad: Tense atmosphere continued to prevail at Ashok Nagar with Group-I services aspirants and unemployed youth turning-up in large numbers on Sunday to participate in protests demanding immediate postponement of the Group -I Main exams that are scheduled to be held from Monday.
Group-I aspirants from across Telangana State gathered at Ashok Nagar crossroads in large numbers and raised slogans against the government on Sunday.
A press meet, scheduled to be addressed by the Group 1 aspirants had be cancelled, as police did not allow the agitating youth to hold such an interaction.
Police presence in Ashok Nagar was beefed up following the gathering of the students and the participation of leaders of political parties in the protest on Saturday.
