Members of TRSMA felicitate parents of K Saraswathi at Morriguda village in Tiryani mandal on Wednesday
Kumram Bheem-Asifabad: Members of Telangana Recognised Schools Managements Association (TRSMA)-Mancherial chapter gave a tablet computer and promised to provide education to a primary school student till Class X for free whose father was travelling five kilometres daily for helping his daughter to attend online classes every day, at Morriguda village in Tiryani mandal on Wednesday.
TRSMA State joint secretary Vodnala Satyanarayana and Mancherial district president R Vishnuvardhan Rao felicitated the parents of the girl Saraswathi, a class I student of a private school of Tandur mandal centre, with a shawl for taking special care to ensure that their daughter attended online classes necessitated by Covid-19 lockdown.
They were all praise for Bhagavanth Rao, father of the girl, for going extra mile to provide education to his daughter despite odds.
Satyanarayana and Vishnuvardhan handed over an undertaking in writing to the father of the girl, stating the private schools would offer free education to the girl till she completes her SSC at any school across the State for free of cost. They said that parents should draw inspiration from Bhagavanth Rao in helping their children in accessing online classes.
Rao was forced to take to a hilly spot about 5 kilometres away from Morriguda owing to lack of good coverage of telecom network. His plight was reported in a local vernacular newspaper recently. Responding to the report, members of TRSMA visited the parents house and assured them of all support in future.
TRSMA State vice presidents Siddaiah and Padmacharan, associate president Gopathi Sattiaha were also present.
