Victim’s husband offers to drop case against Allu Arjun after tragic stampede that claimed wife’s life
In response to the actor’s arrest, Revathi's husband, M Bhaskar, publicly stated that he was willing to withdraw the case. "I am ready to withdraw the case. My son wanted to watch the film, so we went there. Allu Arjun has nothing to do with the stampede that caused my wife’s death," he told the media.

Hyderabad: In a dramatic turn of events which followed the arrest of Telugu actor Allu Arjun in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case, the victim’s husband had come forward offering to withdraw the case on Friday.
Reacting to the actor’s arrest, the victim Revathi’s husband M Bhaskar told publicly that he was willing to withdraw the case.
“I am ready to withdraw the case. My son wanted to watch the film so we went there. Allu Arjun has nothing to do with the stampede in which my wife passed away,” he told the media persons.
The actor was arrested in connection with the stampede at the theatre during the premiere show of his latest film – Pushpa 2: The Rule on December 4. The tragic incident claimed the life of Revathi (35), while her son remains under treatment for injuries sustained during the chaos.
It can be noted that the actor extended support to the bereaved family and announced a financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh on a personal level as a goodwill gesture. He also committed to covering the medical expenses of the injured child. He assured that he would meet the family once things return to normal.
