VTSUK Diwali Mela 2024: A joyous festival of lights unites all
Under the guidance of Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, VTSUK, a UK-based charity and offshoot of Vikasa Tarangini in India, is dedicated to serving the community. The event, held at Pinner Village Hall in London, drew a large crowd, with attendees enjoying a variety of food, shopping, mehndi, face painting, children's games, a fashion walk, and a special cultural performance.

Hyderabad: On October 19, the VTSUK Diwali Mela dazzled attendees with an extraordinary celebration of culture, and community spirit. Hosted by the Volunteering Together for Service UK (VTSUK), the event brought together thousands of people from diverse backgrounds to celebrate Diwali spirit.
Under the aegis of Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, VTSUK is a UK based charity organisation an offshoot of Vikasa Tarangini in Bharath purely working to serve the community. Held at Pinner Village Hall in London, the event saw a massive turnout, with attendees filling the venue to enjoy the wide range of food, shopping, mehndi, face painting, kid’s games, fashion walk and a special cultural performance.
The event was graced by local MP David Simmonds, Mayor of Harrow Salim Chowdhury along with Mayoress Jesmin Chowdhury and Counsellor Becky Hagger.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to two charities Hillingdon Brain Tumour & Injury Group in UK and Mahila Arogya Vikas in India who organise free cancer screening programs for women. Attendees from various ethnicities and religious backgrounds came together, fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding.
Team VTSUK Board members, President Anu Sadasya, Vice President Gowthami, Secretaries, Swetha, Theertha and Mamatha have thanked all making this event a grand success.
