Watch: Mahabubabad Teacher suspended after parents catch him allegedly showing obscene videos to students

The incident occurred at the Sakram Naik thanda Government Primary School in Seerole mandal, where parents, upon learning of teacher Dharam Soth Sreenu's inappropriate behavior from their children, confronted him at the school. In their anger, they physically assaulted him with slippers before reporting the matter to higher authorities. Following an inquiry, the teacher was suspended, and a formal investigation was initiated involving the district child protection officer and Bala Raksha Bhavan.

Mahabubabad: A teacher, who allegedly misbehaved with girl students and was showing obscene videos to them on his mobile phone, was thrashed by parents in Seerole mandal in the district on Monday.

The incident took place at Sakram Naik thanda Government (Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes-DNT) Primary School in the mandal. The parents, who came to know about the misbehaviour of the accused teacher Dharam Soth Sreenu from their children, visited the school and questioned him. Later, in a fit of rage they beat him up with chappals and took the matter to the notice of the higher officials.

Based on a primary enquiry report submitted by ZPHS, Kampally school complex headmaster, district educational officer Dr. A Ravinder Reddy issued order suspending Sreenu from services. An inquiry committee with the district child protection officer and Bala Raksha Bhavan Mahabubbad was constituted for a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
