Katta Laxman Reddy, her father, expressed happiness over the selection of his daughter for the Hyderabad team. Right from childhood, she was passionate about cricket. Noticing her interest, they joined her in a coaching centre in Hyderabad. She proved her talent by securing a place in the Hyderabad team, he said.
