He pointed out that farmers have been unable to sell their paddy at procurement centers, despite bringing their produce there two months ago. He also questioned the state government's failure to manage the procurement process, especially when the union government fully funds paddy procurement and provides a minimum support price (MSP) of Rs. 2,320 per quintal.
Nalgonda: Thieves broke into ten houses in a row in Sunshine Colony in Narketpally area in the district and looted them on Sunday night. Around Rs.2 lakh cash and 4 tolas of gold were taken away. Scenes of theft were recorded in CCTV cameras installed in the colony.
It is suspected to be the handiwork of an inter-state gang. The victims alleged that despite being informed about the incident, the police did not start the investigation. A case was registered and investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, people are panicking due to a series of thefts and demanding the government to provide security in their area.
