Sandhya theater tragedy: Allu Arjun faces volley of questions from Chikkadpally Police

The actor, who was summoned by the police in connection with a stampede incident during screening of ‘Pusha 2: The Rule’ movie at Sandhya Theatre, arrived at Chikkadpally Police Station in Ashok Nagar at 11.05 am here on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: Tollywood actor Allu Arjun has been facing a volley of questions for the last two hours.

The actor, who was summoned by the police in connection with a stampede incident during screening of ‘Pusha 2: The Rule’ movie at Sandhya Theatre, arrived at Chikkadpally Police Station in Ashok Nagar at 11.05 am here on Tuesday.

So far, the questioning related to incidents that led to stampede and death of a 35-year-old woman Revathi, leaving her son injured, is underway. The actor is being accompanied by his legal team.

Meanwhile, Ashok Nagar has been heavily fortified with heavy police deployment at the police station. The roads leading for police station have also been barricaded, causing a lot of inconvenience to residents.
