Speaking to reporters in Medak after attending the centenary celebrations of Medak Cathedral on Monday, Harish Rao praised former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for introducing the Christmas and Ramzan gift schemes, aimed at helping people of all religions celebrate their festivals in grand style. He also mentioned that Chandrashekhar Rao had declared Boxing Day a holiday for both schools and offices.

Referring to him as Telangana's pride, he emphasized that the BRS government had honored Telangana's son by celebrating his birth centenary, renaming Necklace Road as PV Marg, and erecting a statue in his memory. The state also recommended him for the Bharat Ratna, he added.

Harish Rao also voiced concern over the Congress government's atrocities on tribal farmers in Lagacherla and highlighted incidents of third-degree torture and handcuffing.

Harish Rao hailed the High Court's decision preventing the arrest of the BRS working president in the alleged Formula E case, calling it a moral victory. He criticized Revanth Reddy for making false accusations of Rs 600 crore corruption in the Formula E racing event. "According to a Nielsen survey, the event generated Rs 700 crore in economic benefits for the State in its first year alone. Despite clear evidence, Revanth continues to spread lies to mislead the public," he stated.

Earlier, BRS MLAs submitted an adjournment motion, urging the Speaker to allow a discussion on the Formula-E controversy.

Harish Rao expressed his gratitude to Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka for acknowledging that the Congress government had raised Rs.1,27,208 crore in loans during its first year. He further projected that, with the increase in FRBM limits, the Congress government was likely to raise nearly Rs.7 lakh crore in loans.

During a short discussion on the "Outstanding Liabilities of the State," Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka was speaking when a member from the treasury benches shouted "thief" as Harish Rao was about to begin his remarks. Harish Rao responded by calling the member a "useless fellow." In response, members from the treasury benches demanded that Harish Rao withdraw his comment. However, Harish Rao stood his ground, stating that if the member's remark was expunged, he would also withdraw his comment.

Displaying a copy of GO Ms 54, issued on June 26 this year, he stated that the Congress government had allocated 400 acres of government land in survey number 25 at Gachibowli village, Serilingampally, to the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation. This allocation was intended for the development of IT and mixed-use projects and was made at a market rate of ₹75 crore per acre, he explained.

"We have discussed the State finances and loans about eight times. If the House is being run like this, one can imagine how the State administration is being run," Owaisi said
